COLOURS Virtual Journey Weeks – Discover our European University Alliance from wherever you are!
In November 2026, the COLOURS University Alliance invites all students, staff, and anyone interested to embark on a special journey through Europe – without having to pack a suitcase.
During the COLOURS Virtual Journey Weeks (VJWs), you can get to know all nine partner universities of the COLOURS Alliance. Look forward to a varied online programme featuring creative materials, interactive formats, and inspiring live sessions. Throughout November, you will have access to content about the universities, their campuses, study opportunities, and international offers.
On nine Live-Days, each hosted by one COLOURS partner university, you will gain direct insights into language, region, and culture, and find out what it is like to study and live there. Discover which of the many opportunities offered by the COLOURS Alliance are the best fit for you and your studies.
The Virtual Journey Weeks are the perfect opportunity to meet students, teachers, and university staff from other countries, expand your network, and become part of a vibrant European University Alliance. Take this chance to strengthen your international skills and integrate international experiences into your study or working life. Is there a partner university that you find particularly interesting? Then get to know it even better through our offers in COLOURS– perhaps even through a stay abroad soon?

When you register, you will have access to videos, podcasts, interviews, quizzes, and much more throughout November, giving you the opportunity to get to know the nine partner universities of the COLOURS Alliance better. You will also gain access to all nine Live-Days, for which each partner has developed individual formats and content to showcase their university to you.
You will soon be able to register via the official event page until the end of the Virtual Journey Weeks, i.e. until 30 November. The page will be available shortly right here.
You can always drop by spontaneously. But remember: the earlier you register, the more partner universities you will be able to experience live!
Get Involved! – Virtual Journey Week: Your UPB
For the VJWs, and especially for our Paderborn University Live Day on 19 November, we are still looking for motivated students who would like to support us in presenting our University, region, language, culture, and City from your perspective. There are two ways to get involved:
- Become part of our UPB Live Day – send us your ideas and applications by 27 September!
- Take part in the student competition: POV – Studying at Paderborn University – deadline for submissions is 20 October
