The University of Castilla - La Mancha (UCLM) was founded in 1982 and is a public university with several campuses in Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo. Two of its campuses are located in UNESCO World Heritage cities and offer students a unique combination of academic learning, history and culture.

Castilla-La Mancha – Studying in the heart of Spain
The region of Castilla-La Mancha is renowned for its historical significance, stunning landscapes and its connection to Miguel de Cervantes’ *Don Quixote*. The university towns combine cultural heritage with modern student life.
Toledo and Cuenca in particular – both UNESCO World Heritage cities – offer an exceptional learning environment with historic architecture, cultural events and an international atmosphere. COLOURS at the UCLM
As a member of the COLOURS Alliance, the University of Castilla-La Mancha is actively involved in European projects focusing on innovation, sustainability, regional development and social responsibility.

Don’t speak Spanish yet? No problem. Many courses and international programmes are also on offer in English. In addition, the university offers language courses to help international students improve their Spanish and gain a better understanding of Spanish culture.
