Current research focus: Chip-scale realization of PLL-based optoelectronic RF synthesizer
Doctoral work: Microring resonators based reconfigurable and integrated microwave photonic filters.
Research areas: integrated photonics, silicon photonics and microwave photonics.
Research Highlights:
- hands-on experience of fabricating integrated photonic devices
- tape outs of PICs from AMF, IMEC and SilTerra
- experimental hands-on in the optical and electrical (high-speed RF and thermal) testing of photonic circuits
- involvement in the development of packaged PIC modules
