Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering

Study without A-levels

At Paderborn University, we offer many opportunities to start a degree programme. In addition to the general higher education entrance qualification, prospective students can also enrol in degree programmes with a vocational qualification or the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, taking into account the admission requirements. Prospective students who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification abroad and would like to study with us are also very welcome. If none of these requirements are met, there is the option of attending individual courses as a guest student.

Continuing your studies after completing your Bachelor's degree

Regardless of whether you have obtained your Bachelor's degree at Paderborn University or at another university, Paderborn University offers you a wide range of Master's degree programmes. Students who have obtained their Bachelor's degree abroad can also take up a Master's programme with us.

Central Student Counselling Service

We support prospective students in their orientation and choice of degree programme. We also provide advice on all questions relating to studying and starting a degree programme.

PLAZ - Professional School of Education

We provide information and advice on teacher training programmes, including questions on admission requirements and planning your studies and examinations.

Service Centre for Students with Disabilities (SmB)

We enable prospective students with disabilities to gain as comprehensive a picture as possible of their future place of study, its structural framework conditions and support options before enrolment.

FamilyServiceOffice

We provide support with questions and concerns regarding the compatibility of studying and caring for relatives or childcare.

International Office

We support prospective students who do not have a German university entrance qualification in the application process at Paderborn University.
