Über Anni-Yasmin Turhan
Ich leite die Professur für Wissensrepräsentation am Institut für Informatik. Meine Forschungsinteressen sind die Grundlagen intelligenter logik-basierter Systeme. Zentral in diesen Systemem sind Schlussfolgerungsprobleme deren Eigenschaften ich untersuche und für die ich Schlussfolgerungsverfahren entwickele.
Hauptsächlich betrachte ich in meiner Forschung Beschreibungslogiken mit diesen Logiken können einerseits deklarativ Terminologien modelliert werden und andererseits Daten mittels Terminologien angereichert werden. Schwerpunktthemen meiner Forschung sind Verfahren zum symbolischen Lernen von Ausdrücken in Beschreibungslogik und "robuste" Anfragen an Beschreibungslogik Wissensbasen, die Inkonsistenz-tolerant bzw relaxiert sind.

Lehre
Schwerpunkte in der Lehre
In der Lehre werden von der Gruppe Wissensrepräsentation Veranstaltungen mit dem Schwerpunkt Logik angeboten. Die vermittelten Konzepte und Verfahren stammen oft aus der theoretischen Informatik -- so z.B. Entscheidbarkeit, Komplexität oder Beweisverfahren. Im Bachelorstudium bieten wir daher Veranstaltungen zu Themen aus der theoretischen Informatik an. Im Masterstudium werden Veranstaltungen angeboten, die in grundlegende Formalismen der Wissensrepräsentation und deren Schlussfolgerungsprobleme einführen. Schwerpunkte sind hier Beschreibungslogiken und auch Logiken für nicht-monotones Schliessen.
