Prof. Dr. Lars Libuda, nutrition scientist at Paderborn University, has been appointed as a member of the Commission on Evidence-Based Methods in Risk Assessment at the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in Berlin.
Pupils and prospective students can experience Paderborn University live on Thursday, 15 January 2026, from 8 am to 2 pm: With the "Campus Day", the university offers interested parties a varied programme where visitors can get a taste of degree programmes, talk to students and take part in real courses.

35 million euros, 210 scientists, 12 years of research: After the maximum possible duration of three funding periods, the Collaborative Research Centre/TRR 142 "Tailor-made Nonlinear Photonics: From Basic Concepts to Functional Structures" officially ended in December 2025.
