From 18 to 22 August, children aged between 8 and 13 can go on a journey of discovery at Paderborn University: The "Vielfalt stärken" summer camp offers a colourful programme prepared and run by student teachers.
In order to meet the growing demand for affordable student accommodation, 49 modern individual flats subsidised by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia are being built directly on the Paderborn University campus. Paderborn students will move into these on 1 August.

Prof Dr Tim Bartley, physicist at Paderborn University, has once again been awarded a prestigious European grant. The "Proof of Concept Grant" from the European Research Council (ERC) supports the scientist in bringing his previous research results in the field of quantum optics into application.
At its meeting on Friday, 4 July, the Joint Science Conference of the Federal and State Governments (GWK) decided on nine continuation applications from consortia of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The "NFDI4Culture" consortium, co-sponsored by Paderborn University, received a positive funding decision for a second project phase.

At the premiere of the multi-tournament "Campus Champions" on the outdoor campus of Paderborn University, numerous participants competed against each other in various sports such as "3x3" basketball, beach volleyball and padel tennis.
