Geschichte im digitalen Wandel? Geschichtskultur – Erinnerungspraktiken – Historisches Lernen

Overview

The research project is dedicated to current questions about historical culture and digital change: What happens to socially shared stories when the public and social negotiation processes shift more and more into the digital space and even become the starting point for this? How do a new culture of digitality and historical culture(s) interact with each other? What developments are historical cultural institutions, such as history lessons and museums, what influence do social media have in historical culture and how does all of this change the scope for historical teaching and learning?
