About Harald Selke

As head of the student service computer science, I am responsible for a team that takes care of all matters related to university teaching. Our tasks include:

  • Advising students and lecturers as well as prospective students on all questions, irritations and problems concerning our degree programs
  • Proactive assistance, for example, through peer mentoring for students, information events on topics ranging from studying abroad to the use of the module handbook tool by lecturers
  • Support of the examination board in questions of recognition, admission of students, etc.
  • Regulation of matters relating to examination regulations, for example by maintaining the module handbook, coordination with the central examination office, revision of amendment regulations, reaccreditations
  • Planning and controlling by collecting and evaluating relevant key figures and feedback from students
  • Acquiring new students by providing information and supporting the institute's public relations work.

Outreach

coactum GmbH is a spin-off out of Paderborn University's Heinz Nixdorf Institute. Since 2010, we have been developing software solutions for cooperative learning and work based on the open source platforms opensTeam and Moodle. These systems are in use in universities, schools and numerous companies. We also offer a wide range of IT services as well as IT consulting.
