Helping to shape teaching: Ideas wanted for the first "edYOUcate@UPB"

 |  EducationTeachingNewsHigher Education Development Office

Paderborn University invites you to the first "edYOUcate@UPB" on Tuesday, 23 June. The event stands for an open, participatory exchange on good teaching - with lecturers, students and staff alike. All members of the University are invited to actively participate in the programme. Students are particularly welcome to contribute their own perspectives, initiatives or research findings. Teaching staff are also invited to present student projects from their courses.

Three topics structure the programme:

  • University as a democratic space - participation, co-design and dialogue in university culture
  • Social responsibility and higher education - teaching as a contribution to reflecting on social challenges
  • Teaching and learning democracy - didactic concepts to promote democratic competences

We are looking for contributions in various formats, including workshops, round tables, keynote speeches, discussion rounds as well as contributions for the DisQspace and the transfer exchange for teaching innovations. You can also submit your own format ideas. The deadline for submissions is 15 March. All information and opportunities to take part can be found on the event website.
