From Monday, 22 April to Thursday, 25 April, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the PLAZ – Professional School of Education invite all students to the "Ab ins Ausland" information week. On four consecutive days, the interdisciplinary team of the "Off abroad" information week, the institutes of the faculty and the International Office of Paderborn University will inform and advise interested students about various opportunities to go abroad during and after their studies. Participation in all events of the information week is free of charge and possible without registration.

As every semester, students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will once again receive general information about studying and internships abroad during Info Week. In a panel discussion on Monday, 22 April, from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., professors, staff, former exchange students and interns will explore why a stay abroad during your studies can be useful.

Student teachers from all faculties are invited to find out more about internships abroad at schools and the international internship semester on Tuesday, 23 April. In an impulse workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, students can deal with the topic of "Intercultural Competence" and during a session from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, students with special needs will receive specific information on stays abroad with, for example, caring responsibilities, child(ren) or physical impairments and chronic illnesses.

As every summer semester, the "Departure" fair will take place on Wednesday, 24 April in the university library foyer. Interested students will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with internal and external representatives from a wide range of institutions. From 1 to 2 p.m., there will also be an event on stays abroad during the doctoral phase.

On Thursday, 25 April, all interested parties are invited to take part in application workshops for internships abroad and study visits to a partner university of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. At the end of the information week, the event team invites you to the Lötlampe Paderborn (Warburger Straße 37) from 6.30 pm for an international quiz with questions about different places and cultures around the world.
