Mil­lions in fund­ing for bet­ter com­puter sci­ence teach­ing: First na­tion­wide doc­tor­al pro­gramme in com­puter sci­ence edu­ca­tion

Thanks to funding from the Carl Zeiss Foundation, a doctoral programme in computer science education – the only one of its kind in Germany – is being established across six university campuses in five federal states. The aim is to strengthen research, professional development and cross-regional networking in computer science education in the long term.

Strength­en­ing maths skills: Ger­man states to con­tin­ue the QuaMath pro­gramme un­til 2033

The federal states are continuing their joint initiative, ‘QuaMath – Developing the Quality of Teaching and Professional Development in Mathematics’, until the end of 2033 and are extending it to further schools.
