AStA Summer Festival
With around 14,000 visitors each year, the AStA Summer Festival is regarded as one of the largest outdoor university festivals in Germany. Since 1998, it has transformed the Paderborn University campus into a festival site for a day. Local bands, well-known headliners and various DJs perform on several stages. It is organised by the General Student Committee (AStA), after which it is also named.
