Looking at Patterns - Exploring pattern-recognition of primary school children with eye tracking

Overview

This project examines the potential of using eye tracking to investigate pattern-recognition processes of children with mathematical talents and children with difficulties in learning mathematics at the end of primary school. The initial focus is on the question how processes of pattern-recognition processes can be reconstructed from eye tracking data and to what extent these match the verbal descriptions of the students.
