In the FlexiEnergy project, a consortium from research and industry is developing a decision support system for cross-sectoral planning of energy networks. The planning tool supports the stakeholders involved (utility companies, grid operators, politicians) in the transformation process of flexibilisation and provides recommendations for the future design of energy systems with the aim of making them more cost-efficient,less CO2-intensive and more robust.
In the workshop series, project results that have already been developed will be presented and discussed on three dates from November 2020.
Depending on the situation, it will take place on site at Paderborn University or digitally.
The individual workshops will focus on
- New business and tariff models for future flexibility options,
- simulation and optimisation methods to support decision-making in the planning of energy grids,
- as well as regulatory policy recommendations.
The workshops are aimed at all players in the energy market.
