Interactive Campaign: Search for the Winning Photo - Featuring the "Wissenshasen"

The first participatory campaign linked to the Long Night of Science (LNdW), which is scheduled for 2027, has sparked a great deal of creativity, for which we would like to thank you very much! Your great ideas really inspired us! Over Easter, 125 colourful, 3D-printed “Wissenshasen” (rabbits of knowledge) were hidden across campus to draw attention to the event’s motto, “Wissen, wie der Hase läuft” (meaning: “Knowing how things work”). Many staff members responded to the call to capture their new roommate in an original photo. From Monday afternoon, 11 May, to Wednesday, 13 May, the submitted pictures will be displayed in an exhibition in the foyer of Paderborn University. You will have the opportunity to vote for your favourite entry there. The winning image will become part of the LNdW campaign.

The exhibition of the pictures will then be on display from midday on Monday 18 May 2026 until 20 May 2025 at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute (Fürstenallee 11).
