Additive manufacturing (3D printing) is rapidly evolving from prototyping into a key industrial technology. The ‘Direct Manufacturing Research Centre’ (DMRC) at Paderborn University, in cooperation with the East Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce, is hosting two information sessions on the ‘Additive Manufacturing’ supplementary qualification within vocational training. They will take place on Tuesday, 15 September, and Thursday, 12 November, from 3 pm to 5 pm on both occasions, and are aimed at companies offering apprenticeships and apprentices themselves.
