FIT for German in Everyday Life & at University
When:

Being able to communicate confidently and competently can be crucial in everyday university life. Whether in emails, during consultation hours or during presentations, a confident manner is essential. This workshop focuses on these situations. You’ll learn
- how to communicate competently in emails and during consultation hours
- how to present yourself with confidence in presentations and discussions
Using specific examples, this workshop will help you gain greater confidence in using the German language and present yourself more confidently.

FIT for professional communication at work
When:
- Monday 22 June: 4.15 pm,
- Wednesday 24 June: 4.15 pm, and
- Wednesday, 1 July: 4.15 pm.
Professional communication plays an important role in everyday working life. Whether talking to colleagues, discussing matters with line managers or finding yourself in new, unfamiliar situations, being confident with language is essential. This workshop focuses on
- how you can understand and practise small talk and polite communication, and
- how you can confidently deal with linguistic uncertainty and new situations.
The workshop will provide you with practical tips to help you express yourself more clearly in professional conversations and present yourself with greater confidence.

Damit ihr euch gut vorbereiten könnt, bietet dieser Workshop vom ZFS und InRegioFIT praktische Hilfestellungen und Orientierung. Ihr erfahrt, was in Bewerbungsverfahren wichtig ist und wie ihr euch im Arbeitsalltag erfolgreich einbringt.
Wir bearbeiten u.a.:
- Bewerbungsunterlagen und Vorstellungsgespräche
- erfolgreiche Strategien für den Berufseinstieg
- Kommunikation und Verhalten im Praktikum
- Erwartungen von Arbeitgeber*innen
- Tipps für die ersten Wochen im neuen Umfeld

In this workshop organised by the ZFS and InRegioFIT, you’ll learn all the key steps involved in writing an academic paper. You’ll receive practical tips and work together to practise the various stages of the writing process. We’ll help you with these important points:
1. Planning a good start:
- how to break your paper down into clear steps;
- how to set realistic goals.
2. Working scientifically:
- how to find and use relevant literature and/or data effectively;
- how to structure your arguments logically.
3. Writing effectively and revising:
- how to overcome writer’s block;
- how to check the clarity, structure and style of your text.
