Dr. Wael Mousa

Wael Mousa is Managing Director of the COLOURS Coordination & Support Office at the University of Paderborn (UPB). He brings extensive experience in leading and steering complex European programmes and international partnerships, with expertise in consortium governance, financial oversight, contractual coordination, and strategic stakeholder engagement. He has worked across Germany’s research and higher-education ecosystem, supporting EU-funded collaborations—including Horizon Europe and EIT programmes—and cross-institutional initiatives. His interdisciplinary background in architecture/engineering and sustainable building research informs a structured, impact-oriented approach to alliance development, delivery, and long-term sustainability.
