Under the call "Pitch your Project", the state of North Rhine-Westphalia invited ERDF-funded projects to present project results and face a jury in October. The jury consisted of experts from various disciplines as well as representatives of the economic and social partners.
A total of 35 funded projects on the topic of digital and green transformation were selected. In a final round, five projects selected by the jury were able to present themselves to a wide audience in Düsseldorf. The FlexiEnergy research project won the public vote with its cross-sectoral decision-making support for the flexible organisation of the energy system under uncertainty. Sven Brüske from Energie Impuls OWL, Dr Christoph Weskamp from SICP, Sascha Burmeister and Jonas Kirchhoff from SICP accepted the second prize on behalf of FlexiEnergy.
