A large group of people with a refugee background study and conduct research at Paderborn University and receive intensive support from the International Office and the Welcome Services for International Researchers and Employees. Volker Verhoff, the new Coordinator for Refugee Students at the International Office, and Anna-Marina Vogt from the Welcome Services will present the current support structures for refugee students and researchers at UPB. This will include the "NRWege ins Studium" programme of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the "Welcome" and "Hilde Domin" programme of the DAAD for refugee students as well as the Philipp Schwartz Initiative for researchers at risk of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
The event is aimed at all interested members of Paderborn University and will take place via Zoom and in English. Registration is not necessary. The link to the event and further information can be found on the website of the "International Tuesdays".
About the "International Tuesdays"
Since the summer semester 2021, the "International Tuesdays" have offered all members of UPB the opportunity to network in an informal setting during lunchtime and exchange ideas, experiences and best practices with other interested parties.
