Obligation to report information security incidents

Data protection gives rise to legal requirements for information security. For example, the university must report "breaches of personal data protection" to the supervisory authority within 72 hours. To this end, all information security incidents within the university must be reported as soon as they become known.

Information Security Guideline

The university-wide information security guideline concisely defines the fundamental objectives, responsibilities, and measures necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all relevant UPB information. It establishes basic information security requirements.
