As part of the “Go East” initiative, the DAAD would like to support more students from Germany for study and research stays in the countries of Central, Southeast and Eastern Europe as well as the South Caucasus and Central Asia. In order to arouse the interest of young academics, the DAAD supports German students who want to attend summer and winter schools. These advanced training events are offered every year during the summer or winter months by universities in the region on a wide variety of topics.
