About Boris Wembe Moafo

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in optimal control and applications at Paderborn University, Germany. Since July 2022, I have been a member of the Numerik und Steuerung group, led by Prof. Dr. Sina Ober-Blöbaum at the Institute of Mathematics.

Research

Research Interests

My research focuses on optimal control theory and its applications, combining analytical and numerical perspectives. I am particularly interested in geometric optimal control, quantum optimal control, PDE-constrained optimal control, turnpike theory in optiimal control, and the design of efficient numerical algorithms based on direct and indirect methods.
