Call for applications
As part of our COLOURS Alliance, our Polish partner – Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa – is funding two student mobility programmes. The following mobility programmes are eligible for funding:
- study visit,
- work placement,
- summer/winter school,
- seminars,
- workshops,
- training courses
- intensive courses,
- conferences, including international ones.
- Event organised within the COLOURS Alliance (in the case of such an event, the exact name of the event must be provided, e.g. COLAB ‘…[title]…’ or Hackathon ‘…[title]…’
Minimum duration of the stay abroad at JDU: 3 days’ stay + 2 days’ travel
Maximum duration of the stay abroad at JDU: 12 days’ stay + 2 days’ travel
The mobility programme must be planned and carried out between 15 September 2026 and 30 April 2027.

Summer and winter schools
Summer and Winter Schools are short academic programmes for students lasting two to four weeks. At the end of the programme, you receive credits that can be recognised at Paderborn University. You should check with your faculty beforehand whether you can have the course credited to you.
The courses require a fee to be paid.
The summer/winter schools published here are sent to us by partner universities. The respective organisers are responsible for course content and application conditions. If the university of your choice is not listed, please research directly with the university in question.
As a helpful aid, the DAAD offers an information brochure on language courses and summer schools abroad.
