Dr. Enes Yigitbas is currently interim professor for Human-Computer Interaction at Paderborn University. Before that, he worked between 2012-2019 as a research assistant and doctoral student and between 2020-2021 as a post-doc at the Chair of Database and Information Systems. He completed his dissertation with the title “Model-Driven Engineering of Self-Adaptive User Interfaces” in 2019 with the grade “summa cum laude”. Mr. Yigitbas' research focuses on model-driven and human-centered software engineering, self-adaptive software systems, and human-computer interaction with a special focus on augmented and virtual reality. During his doctorate, his research work was linked to various industrial projects in the Software Innovation Campus Paderborn (SICP). In this context, he was significantly involved in the implementation and management of various projects such as "KoMoS" (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), "Digital in NRW" (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), or "AWARE" (Ministry of Economics, Innovation, Digitization and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia -Westphalia). In addition to project and teaching activities, Mr. Yigitbas is also actively involved in various committee activities. He is the deputy spokesman of the german SIG for process models for operational application development and at the same time a member of various national and international committees (SIG adaptivity and user modeling, SIG management of application development and maintenance, and IFIP working group 13.2 - Methodology for User-Centered System Design). In addition, Mr. Yigitbas serves as a reviewer for various international conferences (MODELS, EICS, VL / HCC, SEAMS, ...) and journals (IJHCI, SoSym, UAIS, ...).
