First Paderborn Practice Day: Schools caught between analogue and digital education

Digitalisation in German schools is on the rise. The first Paderborn Practical Day will explore the question of what new challenges this poses for teachers. This will take place all day on Wednesday, 6 March at Paderborn University. The event will focus on the specific use and critical reflection of media in the classroom as well as the resulting opportunities and challenges. All interested teachers and those involved in teacher training are invited to attend. Interested parties can register online until Friday, 16 February. The registration form and detailed information on the programme can be found on the event website.

Prof. Dr Bardo Herzig, Director of the PLAZ - Professional School of Education, and David Tepaße, Head of the Centre for Practical Teacher Training Detmold, will open the event with a keynote speech on the topic of "School and teacher training in the field of tension between analogue and digital - ambivalent insights". This will be followed by a wide range of opportunities for dialogue. Central challenges will be critically discussed and possible solutions formulated in specialised and interdisciplinary formats.
