On the topic of "Gender identity and sexual orientation": new series of events in winter 2024

Location: Paderborn City Library, Am Rothoborn 1, 33098 Paderborn

Change of date: The reading with author Crimson K. has been postponed from 26 January to 8 March.

To mark the annual "Coming Out Day" campaign, Paderborn University is hosting a small series of events in January and February organised by the Central Equal Opportunities Officer Dr Annika Hegemann and the AStA Equal Opportunities Officer Tatjana Lüke. Together with the local alliance "blick* - Landesprojekt zu LSBTIQ* Strukturen im ländlichen Raum", they are offering three different event formats that deal with the topics of "gender identity" and "sexual orientation". Further information on the individual presentations can be found on the event website.

On Friday, 8 March, Berlin author Crimson K. will be reading from her debut novel "Brown Eyed", a contemporary romance novel with BiPOC characters that deals with topics such as homosexuality and intersectionality, at Paderborn City Library at 6 pm. The reading will be rounded off by a discussion between Crimson K. and Charlotte Kaiser from "blick*", which will not only focus on the importance of the visibility of multiple affiliations, but will also allow participants to ask the author their own questions.
