Share your language and culture with your fellow students!
We are looking for students who would like to offer a one-time trial course to showcase the linguistic diversity at UPB.
Whether Mandarin, Portuguese, sign language, Wolof, Basque, Plattdeutsch, Löffelsprache, Bavarian, Saxon or even Klingon... All languages and dialects are welcome!
The most important things at a glance:
- Format: A 1 to 1.5-hour interactive trial course or workshop (NOT a formal academic lesson!).
- When: Part of a one-week event (exact dates to be determined).
- Teamwork: You can lead your workshop alone or in pairs! (For example: a Spanish course with two students from Colombia and Galicia, or a French course with spokespersons from Québec and Senegal).
- Support: You are not on your own! We are here to support you throughout the process.
What to expect in the Moodle course:
We have already prepared everything for you on Moodle so that preparation is stress-free:
- Pre-prepared PowerPoint presentations to customise.
- Sample processes, ideas for activities and topics.
- A forum for asking questions and exchanging ideas with others.
