Further education and training
Further training opportunities for language teachers at universities are an important part of quality management at the ZfS.
Over time, various programmes and projects have been developed for this purpose, aimed at Paderborn University language teachers (at the ZfS, but also in the philology departments and the IBS Language Teaching field) as well as students and interested parties from other universities.

Didactics Café
Since the summer semester 2013, we have been meeting once a month between 11.00-12.30 in the meeting room (I3.301) over coffee and cake to discuss a current topic relating to foreign language teaching.
If you are unable to attend on site, you can participate online via Zoom.

Didaktik-Café PLUS
Das flexible Format für alle Sprachlehrenden, die sich wie in einem „Lehrerzimmer“ über verschiedene Aspekte des Sprachunterrichts auszutauschen, von eigenen Erfahrungen berichten, sich von den Ideen der Kolleg*innen inspirieren lassen und offene Fragen klären möchten.

The mentoring programme serves to familiarise new language teachers with the basics of language teaching at universities in 4 steps.
