E-learning programme for scientists and science managers

With TwentyOne Skills, you can gain targeted and flexible qualifications in key areas of expertise such as Science Communication, Social Media for Scientists, Agile Skills, Design Thinking, Time Management and Mental Health. The programme is open to all target groups in science, research and science management.

Our partners' e-learning offers supplement our ongoing workshop programme with flexible formats. Learners can choose between synchronous and asynchronous forms of learning (and combine them).

| "Deep Dives" | E-learnings with a learning duration of 2-3 hours. In the Deep Dives, a topic is presented in detail. |

| Live formats | Regular live sessions (online, 1 hour each) offer the opportunity to discuss course content, the application of methods or individual questions, which are then answered by experts. You can find an overview of some examples of live sessions here. |
How can I use the e-learning programme? Staff Development issues a limited number of licences to use the TwentyOneSkills e-learning platform. As a participant, you will receive access to the platform, which you can use to access all courses and take part in the live sessions. If you are interested, please complete our registration form at the bottom of this website.
Do I have to pay for the licence? No, the licence is free of charge. The licence on offer is open to all scientists and science managers at Paderborn University.
How long can I use the licence? The licence to use the e-learning platform is activated for 4 months. If you would like to continue using the e-learning beyond this period, we can extend the licence subject to availability.
Will I receive a certificate? You can use the platform to obtain a certificate of attendance for each course you complete. Participants in the certificate programme "Qualification for professional fields in business and society" can also have completed e-learning modules for the programme credited to a maximum of 8 work units by arrangement.
What does participation mean for me? All participants can make unlimited use of the programme for 4 months. In return, we expect you to take part in the evaluation of the programme after completion and reflect on your learning experiences.
What happens after registration? You will receive re-enrolment from us promptly as to whether a licence is still available. You will then receive the access data and all the necessary information.
