The Central Examination Office supports the examination boards in the performance of their tasks in examination administration, works on their behalf and at the same time sees itself as a service institutionfor students and examiners. Office hours on site

The general office hours on site usually take place as follows (for deviations, please see the respective administrations):

The Central Examination office is located in Building C, 2nd floor. Please understand that during office hours, personal counselling takes priority. Please make telephone enquiries outside these hours.

Tasks

The responsibilities of the ZPS include the following tasks in particular:

► Counselling on all examination-related questions of the study programme
► Processing of admissions and registrations for examinations that can be repeated with restrictions
Processing of withdrawals from examinations for valid reasons
Acceptance of final theses
► Recording of examination results for final theses and special forms of examination
► Administration of the study performance accounts of the Bachelor's and Master's study programmes of the University of Paderborn
► Issuing of performance overviews/Transcript of Records and Master's degree programmes at Paderborn University
► Issuing transcripts of records for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmesof the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes at Paderborn University
► Transcriptions into the current version of the examination regulations
► Issue of graduation documents (certificates, diplomas, diploma supplements and transcripts), Diploma Supplements and Transcripts of Records
► Issuing duplicates (degree documents) and certificates to university-internal and external administrative offices
Verifying degrees with third parties with the consent of the persons concerned
► Recording recognition (credits and recognition of examination achievements from other degree programmes or other universities as well as classification in the degree programme) (Crediting and recognition of examinations from other degree programmes or other universities, as well as placement in higher semesters, are carried out by the responsible chairpersons of the examination committees or the subject representatives or module representatives appointed for this purpose.)
