FiMINT offers female students, doctoral students and professors the opportunity to get to know women* from the various STEM fields at the University of Paderborn.
What is FiMINT?
FiMINT is a regular meeting for all STEM women at the University of Paderborn to get to know each other, exchange ideas and build networks. The first meeting of the network after Corona took place online last year in October. Other interested parties are always welcome!
Why FiMINT?
Women in technical and scientific subjects value networking with each other as they are underrepresented. Networking can be the crucial piece of the puzzle for women within the scientific community and promote targeted career entry. With FiMINT, we create the right opportunities together: at panel discussions, round table meetings or company visits, contacts are made, career opportunities are discussed, career paths are presented and possible stumbling blocks are removed. Thanks to FiMINT, female students can promote their academic success during their studies through the mutual exchange of information and experience.

When does FiMINT take place?
We invite all female MINT students to a "meet & eat" in the Mensa Academica on 08.02.2023. At lunchtime we want to give you and you the opportunity to get to know each other, to network with each other and to engage in conversation.
