| Content | This course is for employees who have never studied German or with very low level who would like to start studying German from the beginning. The A1.1 level is designed for beginners and includes intensive training of all skills to understand and communicate in everyday situations. During the course the participants will engage in a variety of group activities and practise using German in everyday contexts that will help to integrate into university life and German society in general. Individual counselling on the appropriate language course level is available on request (dim@upb.de). |

| Trainer | Sabine Adelio and Jennifer Müller |
| Trainer´s background | Sabine Adelio is a German teacher and has over 30 years’ experience teaching German at universities in Germany and abroad. Jennifer Müller is a teacher of German and history; she has mainly taught subject-specific (language) courses at German schools and universities. |
