Fees and contributions
For the Summer Term 2023, the semester fees amount to a total of €348.54 and comprise the following:

In the event that you take a leave of absence, the relevant semester fees payable will depend on the reason for your leave of absence. You can find further information here.

Guest students within the meaning of § 52, Para. 3 of the Higher Education Act (HG) will be charged a general guest student fee of €100 per semester.
Visiting students within the meaning of § 52, Para. 1 of the Higher Education Act (HG) will be charged a visiting student fee of €100 per semester. This fee will be waived if the visiting student is admitted to Paderborn University as a visiting student within the framework of a partnership agreement with another higher education institution and the other higher education institution does not charge a visiting student fee either.
The fees specified above will be payable on submission of the application form for admission.
