  • Competent appearance: Voice training and performance training will promote clear speaking and a confident demeanour.
  • Dealing with difficult questions: The course teaches strategies for responding confidently to challenging questions.
  • Balancing entertainment and knowledge transfer: Participants learn how to make their presentations interesting without compromising scientific integrity.
  • Creating excellent slides: Techniques are taught to create visually appealing and informative presentation slides.
  • Stress management: The course offers methods for dealing with stage fright and improving time management during the presentation.
Content

Participants will learn how to effectively prepare, structure and present their talks in order to communicate their research findings effectively. The course covers important aspects such as voice training, body language, performance training, as well as how to deal with stage fright and stressful situations.

Particular attention will be paid to adapting presentations to different formats and taking into account different levels of knowledge in the audience. Participants are given the opportunity to give their own presentations and receive direct feedback. The course also prepares participants to answer questions after the presentation and highlights the differences between face-to-face and virtual presentations.

The course "Good Scientific Presentation at International Conferences" is an excellent opportunity for researchers to hone their presentation skills and position themselves confidently and effectively on international stages. Through practical exercises, personalised feedback and the teaching of proven methods, participants will be able to present their research effectively and convincingly.
