New to the University? Information and support for new employees

A warm welcome!

I’m delighted that you have decided to join our staff and are keen to contribute to our “joint venture” – our university. We, in turn, want to offer you an interesting and varied job and hope that you will feel at home here.

That’s why we place high priority not only on good further education and training opportunities and family-friendly working conditions, but also on transparent decisions, a collaborative atmosphere and lively dialogue. We foster this through shared values and a wide variety of staff events.

The orientation phase is particularly important for new staff – we want to help you to get settled in and inform you right from the outset of our services and opportunities for staff and special services and opportunities for new employees. The Human Resources Department is always happy to answer any questions you may have.

I wish you a smooth start and all the best for your new job!

Dr Christian Winsel, Head of Human Resources Department
