The deadline for re-enrolment will be announced in an appropriate manner (Paderborn University website, e-mail).
If you wish to continue your studies on the same course after the end of the current semester, you will need to re-enrol. You will be re-enrolled in your course once the university has received your semester fees in full and on time. Please allow sufficient time for your bank to process your payment to the university. You can see whether you are already re-enrolled for the following semester in PAUL under My data > Personal data > Semester status.
If you do not re-enrol by the deadline specified, the exmatriculation procedure will be initiated.
For re-registration to the summer term 2024, semester fees in the amount of 352,75 € must have been received on the university's account by 21/03/2024.

All payments received with no or the wrong student matriculation number cannot be assigned and will be transferred back to the account holder immediately. In this case, you will not be re-enrolled in your course. Please therefore make sure that you enter your student matriculation number correctly, especially when making an online transfer!
Change of programme/ start of parallel studies: The transfer/ enrolment for parallel studies is only possible if your payment of the semester fees has been received by Paderborn University.
Registration for modules and courses is only possible once your payment has been received by Paderborn University.
The admission of visiting students pursuant to § 52, para. 1 of the HG NRW ("Kleiner Zweithörer") is possible for one semester only. If you wish to attend a further semester of courses at Paderborn University as "Kleiner Zweithörer", you will need to reapply for admission.
Visiting students pursuant to § 52, para. 2 Hochschulgesetz (HG) ("Großer Zweithörer") wishing to re-enrol for a subsequent semester are required to present a certificate of enrolment from their primary university. The deadline for re-enrolment for the summer term 2024 is 01/04/2024.
Visiting students who regularly study at the Detmold University of Music or OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts are exempt from this regulation: Students with the subject „Music“ within the teaching degree programme for grammar and comprehensive schools who are regularly enrolled at the Detmold University of Music and students with the subject "Nutritional Science and Home Economics Science combined with Food Technology" within the teaching degree programme for vocational schools who are regularly enrolled at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts are exempt from the obligation to re-enrol.
