Re-enrolment

The deadline for re-enrolment will be announced in an appropriate manner (noticeboards, Paderborn University website).

If you wish to continue your studies on the same course after the end of the current semester, you will need to re-enrol. You will be re-enrolled on your course once the university has received your semester fees in full and on time. Please allow sufficient time for your bank to process your payment to the university. You can see whether you are already re-enrolled for the following semester in PAUL under My data > Personal data > Semester status.

If you do not re-enrol by the deadline specified, the process will be initiated to remove you from the university’s register of students.

For re-enrolment for Summer Semester 2021, semester fees to the amount of €315,09 must be received by the university by 21/03/2021.

Reference: Please enter your student matriculation number followed by your first and last name.

All payments received by Paderborn University with no or the wrong student matriculation number and that therefore cannot be assigned will be immediately transferred back to the account holder. In this case, you will not be re-enrolled on your course. Please therefore make sure that you enter your student matriculation number correctly, especially when making an online transfer!

Transfer programme/parallel studies: Proof of payment of fees and/or contributions (semester fees) must be submitted together with the “Transfer/parallel studies request” form.

Course registration:
Registration for modules and courses is possible only once your payment has been received by Paderborn University.

Cross-registered students pursuant to § 52, Para, 2 of the North Rhine-Westphalia Higher Education Act (HG NRW) wishing to re-enrol for a subsequent semester are required to present a certificate of enrolment from their primary university. The deadline for re-enrolment for Summer Semester 2021 is 30/03/2021.

Admission of “minor” cross-registered students pursuant to § 52, Para. 1 of the HG NRW is for one semester only. If you wish to attend a further semester of courses at Paderborn University as a “minor” cross-registered student, you will need to reapply for admission.
