Getting out of isolation for 12 hours digitally
The sixth writer's night is coming up and you can be part of it! This means: At your desk at home, working together all night to advance your writing projects. Whether you're just starting or you're already on the home stretch does not matter. No matter what the writing assignment is or what you are studying, we will support you throughout the entire night with individual writing consultations, workshops, interesting lectures, brain breaks, yoga, and opportunities to get in touch with other students.
When? Thursday, March 4th from 7:00 p.m. until March 5th at 7:00 a.m.
Where? At your desk at home and from there in PANDA and Discord. The individual workshops and activities will also take place on other platforms (for example Zoom or BigBlueButton), all of which are free and accessible via the browser. So you don't have to install any programs or register anywhere permanently.
What? There is a colorful bouquet of possibilities during the writer's night: You can participate in short inputs and workshops, join us for "coffee breaks," take advice all night (on writing, but also many topics around it), etc. [The program will follow.]
Who? Students and Ph.D. students of all faculties are cordially invited.
How? You can register here. The registration is possible from Wednesday, February 03rd.
Where else? Thousands of students at numerous other universities take part in the nationwide writer's night even in Covid-19 times, proving that writing at home doesn't have to be lonely!
Organized by various service institutions of the University of Paderborn:
Kompetenzzentrum Schreiben, Universitätsbibliothek, Schreib-Treff für internationale Studierende, Hochschulsport, IMT:doIT, Zentrum für Rechtschreibkompetenz, Zentrale Studienberatung, ProLernen
