Programs, opportunities and support for students

To support students during their studies and to ease the transition from university to working life, the university has put in place a number of programmes and resources for students, primarily to help them decide whether or not to go on to complete a PhD.

“Einblick!” peer mentoring for female students

The “Einblick!” (insights) peer mentoring programme gives female graduates and those in the final stages of their degree the chance to talk to other female students about doing a PhD.

Holiday programs during school holidays

Since 1999, the university has held holiday programs on campus for children of university parents during the school holidays. The aim of these camps is not only to make life easier for staff and students trying to juggle work and childcare, but also to get primary school-age children interested in, or to consolidate their existing interest in STEM subjects.
