If you wish to enrol for a German taught degree course, you generally need to prove language skills on level C1 CEFR. For this scope, Paderborn University offers intensive preparatory German language courses on all levels starting with A1. At the end of the Advanced Level (C1), students sit the DSH (German Language Proficiency Certifiate for University Entrance).
Refugees may join the DSH preparatory courses free of charge (until 31.3.2020), as their attendance is financed by the funding program NRWege (by DAAD/MKW).
Applicants should be entiteled to live in the city or region of Paderborn in order to be able to attend the course regularly und punctually. All courses starts daily on 8.15 in different locations on Campus.
