Offers of the Paderborn University Library (UB) for research projects

  • Provision of (commercial) information media required for research projects (acquisition or licensing within the scope of financial possibilities)
  • Interlibrary loan service for the use of printed and audiovisual information media in the holdings of other libraries
  • Operation of the ORCID Centre for research members and members of the University, including advice and support in setting up an ORCID ID and using ORCID
  • Operation of the publication service as an infrastructure for academic OA publishing, in particular for research members and members of the University, including advice, also for the publication of textual research data (pdf).
  • As the university's central DOI allocation office (as a member of the NRW DOI Consortium of the hbz), the UB also acts as an allocation office for DOIs for research data archived and published via a university institution.
  • Support in the area of LZV (long-term availability) in the context of the Rosetta offer of the hbz (see also DH.NRW project LZV/LZA), in which the UB intends to undertake the LZV/LZA of documents published via its digital collections.
