Im Rahmen des Veranstaltungsformats „International Tuesdays“ präsentieren Lehrende der Universität Paderborn ihre internationalen virtuellen Lehrprojekte und teilen ihre Erfahrungen zur Entwicklung und Durchführung.
2020 hat der DAAD zu ersten Mal das Förderprogramm „International Virtual Academic Collaboration“ (IVAC) ausgeschrieben, in dessen Rahmen die Integration digitaler Kollaborationsformate in Lehr- und Lernangebote, die Gestaltung neuer Mobilitätsmuster (Virtual/Blended Mobility) und die Vertiefung digitaler und interkultureller Kompetenzen gefördert werden. An der Universität Paderborn werden drei individuelle IVAC-Projekte gefördert sowie drei weitere Projekte im Rahmen des Campus OWL Verbundprojekts „We CAN virtuOWL“. In der Veranstaltung am 22. Juni werden zwei IVAC-Projekte näher vorgestellt: Frau Vogt berichtet von ihren Erfahrungen aus dem Projekt „#TrainingTwinsInAppliedNeurosciences“ der Arbeitsgruppe Trainings- und Neurowissenschaften, das zusammen mit der Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi durchgeführt wird. Dr. von Elbwart und Frau Keatinge stellen ihr Projekt „Teaching Language Internationally“ vor, das Teil des Campus OWL Projekts ist und zusammen mit der University of Alberta entwickelt wurde.

Best Practices at UPB: International Virtual Academic Collaboration
As part of the event series “International Tuesdays”, lecturers of Paderborn University will present their International Virtual Academic Collaboration projects.
In 2020, the DAAD has launched its new funding programme "International Virtual Academic Collaboration" (IVAC), which promotes the integration of digital collaboration formats in teaching and learning, the design of new mobility patterns (virtual/blended mobility) and acquisition and application of digital and intercultural skills. At Paderborn University, three individual IVAC projects are being funded. Three further projects receive funding as part of the Campus OWL project "We CAN virtuOWL".
On 22 June, two IVAC projects will be presented: Ms Vogt will report on her experiences from the project "#TrainingTwinsInAppliedNeurosciences" for which Paderborn University’s Exercise Science & Neuroscience collaborates with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi. In addition, Dr von Elbwart and Ms Keatinge present their project "Teaching Language Internationally", which is part of the Campus OWL project and was developed together with the University of Alberta.
